About Shana

Hi, I'm Shana and I am the breeder behind Haus Der Herzenskrieger located in Mt. Sterling, KY. I run a small German Shepherd hobby breeding program. I produce solid recessive black, black & tan blanket backs, bi-colors, and sable stock coats. My dogs and litters are AKC registered and I follow the GSDCA's recommendations for breed specific health testing. I raise each litter in my home to produce happy, social, and healthy pups. Why German Shepherds?

My parents had a shepherd when I was born, and we quickly became best friends. I've since had a shepherd in my life, for most of my life and to me they truly are the best breed. Far too often I hear how German Shepherds are crazy or unstable. Vets, groomers, and trainers are all pre-screening shepherds before taking them on as clients due to this bad reputation. So I breed because I want people to experience the German Shepherd as I know it. I want to hand you a responsibly breed, stable, healthy, confident, social, well-rounded pup.
